Consortium Law MSO is led by managing principals who have built and run real businesses across real-estate credit, litigation finance, technology infrastructure, and multi-firm legal operations. The management team is compensated for platform performance — never for legal outcomes.
The team
The Consortium Law managing principals bring three domains together: institutional finance, legal-industry operations, and modern technology infrastructure. What we do not bring is an interest in practicing law.
Managing principals with backgrounds in commercial real-estate credit, litigation-finance underwriting, structured lending, and coalition-scale institutional capital relationships. Fluent in the fee-schedule discipline the MSO structure requires.
Operating experience running multi-firm practices, coordinating shared services across jurisdictions, and managing marketing, intake, and back-office administration at scale — with a working understanding of the rules of professional conduct as a hard constraint.
Systems architects and engineers who have built the AI-enabled operating system, the intake surface, the case-development workflow, the finance ledger, and the compliance audit log. Technology is developed in-house, not licensed from a vendor stack.
Governance
The Consortium Law operating committee includes managing principals from the MSO, an attorney-owner from an affiliated law firm, and outside ethics counsel. The committee meets quarterly and reviews the coalition agreement, the fee schedule, and the compliance report.
Every member firm receives an annual report from the committee — a plain-English accounting of the platform's operating decisions, its financial performance, and any professional-responsibility issue raised or resolved during the year.
This is how the platform stays accountable: not to the market, but to the profession that owns the practice.
Introductions to the managing principals are arranged as part of the membership conversation. The initial meeting is a working conversation about the platform, the structure, and whether Consortium Law is the right fit for the firm on the other side of the table.
